Dooeun Lee

Dooeun Lee is a cellist based in the Greater Lansing area. Prior to joining the Lansing Symphony Orchestra, Dooeun performed with the National Orchestral Institute Festival Orchestra and Michigan State Symphony Orchestra. 

While pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Relations, she got an offer to study cello with Professor Suren Bagratuni. Dooeun graduated from Michigan State University with a Masters and a Doctorate of Music in cello performance. While a student, she worked as a graduate assistant and an instructor of string pedagogy. When Dooeun is not playing the cello, she spends time forming memories with her daughter, Layla.
