Symphony Ambassadors
The time of each person is one of the most valuable assets that we have to offer. The Symphony has many committees available to fit your individual interests for volunteering. The Symphony Ambassadors are the volunteer arm of the Symphony that strives to match each person with tasks and needs that fit their interests.
The Lansing Symphony Orchestra has always relied on the gifts of volunteers to complete our mission. During the 2005/2006 Season, the Symphony Ambassadors was formed to provide structure to the volunteer programs. It serves as an “umbrella organization,” a way to organize all the various volunteers and their activities for the Lansing Symphony. Everyone who volunteers is a Symphony Ambassador. The Symphony Ambassadors’ mission is to organize and use volunteers to create community involvement with and commitment to the LSO; to assist with the LSO’s mission; and to provide recognition and appreciation for the work and involvement of the volunteers.
