Support Your Lansing Symphony Orchestra

The Lansing Symphony Orchestra performs a variety of educational and entertainment programs each year throughout the community. We strive to offer a broad range of quality programming designed to attract, entertain, inspire and educate audiences of all ages and backgrounds and to enhance the remarkable reputation of the mid-Michigan community as a place in which to live, work, play, visit and learn. Since 1929, the Symphony has relied on the mid-Michigan area, including individuals, corporations, foundations and the local government for financial support, donated time and volunteer leadership. Only 30% of the funds necessary to operate the nearly $1 Million cultural program come from ticket sales.  Financial gifts are essential to the operations of the Symphony.

We ask donors to make their financial commitment or pledge to the Symphony with payment of the gift to be received anytime prior to the final concert of the Season, May 17, 2008. By securing “pledges” at the beginning of the Season, the LSO has an improved view of its financial picture for the Season, allowing the Board of Directors and administrative team to better manage the organization to a positive financial year-end.
