6th Annual Gala: An Evening in Paris - Saturday, May 10, 2008
Formerly the Big Band Ball, the LSO Gala offers you a chance to swing to the sounds of the Lansing Symphony Big Band while enjoying the company of friends, live and silent auctions and fantastic food. The evening begins with a cocktail hour allowing guests to socialize and also to view and bid on the many silent auction items available for them to “win” later in the evening. The event also features a live auction with professional auctioneer.

After dinner, the night really begins to swing with dancing throughout the remainder of the evening to the Lansing Symphony Big Band. The Big Band has an extensive repertoire including the swinging sounds of the 20's, 30's and 40's from such artists as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Cole Porter and George Gershwin.
The 5th Annual Big Band Ball was held Saturday, April 28, 2007 at the Radisson Hotel Lansing.
