Studying Music
Studying music has many great benefits. It teaches discipline, and it enhances creativity and personal expression. Best of all, it’s fun and rewarding! Many adults have picked up instruments that they haven’t played since high school, or have started from scratch. There are many community bands and orchestras in our area to participate in as well.
A full orchestra comprised of young people from the mid-Michigan area who share a common interest in performing orchestral music. The Lansing Symphony is proud to partner with the Mid-Michigan Youth Symphony to offer mentorship to its young musicians.

Made up of three different orchestras: the Mason Symphony, the Mason Philharmonic and the Mason Chamber Orchestra. Each of these orchestras allows for musicians of any experience level to play, learn to play, or further hone their music skills.
